Tips for an exciting Jobtour program

  • Offer Jobtourists a hands-on experience with a good balance between theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Show the Jobtourist your work space and explain your tools, machines, rooms, materials, etc.
  • If possible, offer a change of setting: go outside, show the Jobtourist where you purchase your materials, where you sell your products or any other places you go during your workday.
  • Give Jobtourists more options: we suggest offering Jobtours of varying lengths (for example, a one day Jobtour and a 3 day Jobtour). This helps to make your Jobtour available to people with time or budget limitations.
  • Jobtourists enjoy taking home a souvenir to show their friends and family. Perhaps something they create during the Jobtour, or even just a photograph can serve as a nice memory. This way, more people can hear about your Jobtour.
  • Be communicative, answer questions and ask the Jobtourist about his/her specific field of interest.

Administrative instructions

After publishing your Jobcoach profile, interested Jobtourists will be able to contact you about your Jobtour. You will receive Jobtour requests in your e-mail inbox and can respond by sending them a message over our platform.

Clarify the details of the Jobtour (date, etc.) and when your Jobtourist is ready to book:

  1. Send a booking confirmation by clicking "Confirm Jobtour"
  2. Give the Jobtour
  3. After the Jobtour: report the completed Jobtour
  4. Pay the commission fee

1. Booking confirmation

After communicating with your Jobtourist and clarifying all the details, send him/her a booking confirmation by clicking "Confirm Jobtour" (see picture 1 for an example).

This confirmation is e-mailed to the Jobtourist (see picture 2 for an example). We have prepared an automated text and you only need to enter the Jobtour title, the scheduled date and the price. Then click "Send confirmation". Of course, you can also edit the text if you want.

In the Admin panel, your Jobtourist's status will now be listed as "confirmed".

2. Give the Jobtour

Give the Jobtourist your Jobtour, as it is described in your profile and as you have agreed upon.

3. Report the Jobtour

After completing the Jobtour, report it to jobtourist.net. To do so, log in to "My account" and go to your Dashboard. In the Admin panel, find your Jobtourist on the list and click "Report" in the right hand column marked "Next step".

Afterwards, proofread the details of the Jobtour (see picture 3) and click on "Report and Pay". You will be directed to our payment page to pay a 12% commission fee.

4. Pay the commission

After reporting a completed Jobtour, you will be prompted on screen to pay a commission fee. We offer two payment options:

  • When paying with a credit card, you will be redirected to the PayPal website, where you can follow the instructions on the screen.
  • If you choose to pay via electronic bank transfer, you can find all the necessary bank details on screen.

You can also have the invoice and all the payment information e-mailed to you. You will be able to download a PDF copy of the invoice and print it out for your personal records.

Once you have paid the commission, you have completed the cycle of a Jobtour. We will add a Jobtour to the Jobtour counter in your profile and also ask your Jobtourist to write a review of his/her experience. This increases your credibility as a Jobcoach and therefore, your chances of booking more Jobtours in the future.
